What an Inspection Report Is Designed to Do

An inspection report is meant to clearly identify defects, concerns, and potential risks—the things you actually need to know when making a decision.

To keep reports useful and easy to navigate, we focus on:

• Documenting issues and areas of concern
• Highlighting items that may need repair or further evaluation
• Providing clear, relevant photos to support those findings

Why You Won’t See Photos of Everything

While it might seem helpful to document every single part of a property, in practice it creates a report that’s overwhelming, difficult to review, and less effective overall.

Instead, we take a more intentional approach:

• Photos are included primarily for defects or notable findings
• In some cases, we’ll document equipment details (like make, model, and serial numbers)
• Areas without issues are typically not photographed, so the important items stand out

This keeps your report focused, efficient, and easy to understand—especially when timing matters.
